Hours before they will do battle on the gridiron, ����ɫ��ҹ’s football players and other students paused to spend time with kids from Texas facing tough battles of their own.

At the same time that ����ɫ��ҹ is competing in a bowl game, as many as 1,000 kids in Texas will be eating a meal that the Golden Flashes helped provide.

����ɫ��ҹ worked out Tuesday at the Dallas Cowboys’ Training Facility – – for the first of three workouts ahead of Friday’s Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl against Utah State.

After applying, Schroeder has been given the support she had been looking for in her college experience.

The ����ɫ��ҹ University alumni family grew by nearly 3,000 new graduates as the university held its Fall Commencement ceremonies. For the Kent Campus, Commencement ceremonies took place Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center.

Two nationally known neuroscience researchers have joined ����ɫ��ҹ to continue their quest to uncover the brain’s complex functions—and to collaborate with researchers from a wide range of disciplines at the university and across the region to advance our knowledge of the human brain and translate those discoveries into new treatments and care for brain and nervous system diseases.

����ɫ��ҹ students who park on the northern edge of the Kent Campus can now give a collective cheer as additional parking is on the way via an 1,100-space, five-story parking deck. The ����ɫ��ҹ Board of Trustees approved the deck’s construction at its Dec. 4 meeting.
