Antonio Gates has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2025, becoming the second Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ alumnus to earn football's highest honor, joining linebacker Jack Lambert who was enshrined in 1990.
On Nov. 18, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University President Todd Diacon and other campus members got their first look at the newly renovated Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Ice Arena, which now houses a state-of-the-art space for the Marching Golden Flashes.
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University graduate Quintin Cooks has been named the grand prize winner of the GO TEACH Dr Pepper Giveaway.
The Golden Flashes Field Hockey team rang in the second of two wins last week in Athens, against the Ohio University Bobcats. They had previously defeated the visiting Central Michigan Chippewas a few days earlier.
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University made a splash in professional golf last weekend, with three alumni – Corey Conners, Mackenzie Hughes, and Taylor Pendrith – representing the International team at the recent Presidents Cup in Montreal.
