Recognition Programs

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University sponsors various programs to recognize the many contributions of its faculty and staff. Some programs are university-wide while others are sponsored by departments, divisions and regional campuses within the university system.

Milestone Years of Service

Staff employees are recognized when they reach a milestone year of continuous service with the university. Per university policy 3342-6-07.11, classified employees receive a service achievement award — in the form of a cash payment — at every five-year milestone. View more information on the service achievement awards. In January 2008, unclassified employees began receiving a certificate and a gift at every five-year milestone. Employees in this group will receive a catalog with a choice of gifts available and instructions for ordering the gift of their choice.

20-Year Club Service Awards Program

Honors classified and unclassified employees who have 20 years of continuous service at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹. Induction year is determined on a fiscal-year basis. To learn more about the 20-Year Club program, visit the 20-Year Club page.

Veterans Day Program

Each November Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ hosts a Veterans Day Program to express appreciation for student, faculty, staff and community men and women who are veterans or current members of the U.S. military.
