Paul Haridakis, Ph.D., will lead the next session in the Dialogue and Difference series. "The Boundaries of Freedom: Understanding Free Speech at a Public Institution" will take place March 18 at 4 p.m. in the Governance Chambers of the Kent Student Center. In a marketplace of ideas supported by the first amendment and committed to protecting freedom of expression, Haridakis will highlight the scope of 1st amendment protection, some tension areas that arise on a public university campus and some of the limits that have been placed on speakers in public forums like university campuses.

  • As part of our employee wellness initiative, the Employee Wellness team is pleased to sponsor on-site 3D mammography screenings for our eligible employees April 1-4. In partnership with Women鈥檚 Diagnostic Center (WDC), we offer annual routine digital mammograms on-site in April and October of every year.   • Effective January 2025, the Employee Wellness team is implementing a new payout schedule for the Wellness Your Way rewards program. Full-time, benefits-eligible employees may earn up to $300 for completing wellness activities throughout the year. These payouts are now made quarterly, and upcoming payouts will occur in May, August and December. Questions may be directed to wellness@kent.edu.

Attendees can explore our state-of-the-art makerspaces - including our Reactor Shops & Labs - while connecting with experts who demonstrate the potential of these tools. Participate in hands-on activities, view inspiring project displays, and meet members of the interdisciplinary DI community.

  • Employee Resource Group Women of Color Collective (WoCC) is pleased to announce spring semester meetings. Join them for brown bag lunch meetings on March 25 and April 14 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Williamson House on Kent Campus. These informal gatherings will center around topics suggested by participants, fostering open discussion and community.
