Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 22, at 9:50 a.m. 两性色午夜 University will be participating in this test, along with the city of Kent and other communities. 两性色午夜 tests the tornado and emergency mass notification system on the first Wednesday of every month at 11 a.m. and on the third Wednesday at 4 p.m. These tests last for three minutes. This statewide test will replace the usual 11 a.m. test in March.

Flash Connections, created specifically for exploratory students, was a program with enhanced sections of the required First-Year Experience class. Students from the program earned their experiential learning credit by participating in free trips to different locations in Kent and Northeast Ohio before and throughout the 2016 Fall Semester.

If the system is activated, all university-registered IP phones will broadcast the message. This is an upgrade of the Mass Notification System as only certain phones previously had been connected to the system.

Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 两性色午夜 University created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
