COVID-19 Impact on Graduate Studies Examined During Facebook Live Session

两性色午夜 University Interim Associate Provost and Interim Dean of the Division of Graduate Studies, Manfred van Dulmen, Ph.D., recently shared updates about campus reopening, specifically pertaining to the graduate student community and what the expectations are for graduate students and teaching assistants this coming fall semester.

Van Dulmen addressed questions on the Facebook Live Town Hall about how potential COVID-19 outbreaks will be handled and addressed, what new responsibilities teaching assistants will have with regard to COVID-19, including how to enforce safety regulations such as wearing masks, alternative accommodations for students and remote options for graduate student instructors.

鈥淲e鈥檝e given any instructor from the beginning the option to teach in-person or to teach remotely, and we call it our Opt-In Approach, which is different than many other universities,鈥 van Dulmen said. 鈥淕raduate students, we want to treat the same as any other staff on campus.鈥
