����ɫ��ҹ's DI Hub is participating in the Campus Race to Zero Waste One-Building Challenge, a friendly competition between universities with the goal of finding all the ways to reduce the amount of non-diverted trash in a specific university facility. 

The Healthy Communities Research Institute conducts interdisciplinary basic and applied research that will lead to the discovery of practices that “enable people to thrive free of preventable diseases and injury.”

����ɫ��ҹ University President Todd Diacon focused on the benefits to Ohio from state support of ����ɫ��ҹ during his April 10 presentation before the Ohio Senate Workforce and Higher Education Committee in Columbus, Ohio. 

The lecture series created in 2022 to honor the legacy of ����ɫ��ҹ University Professor Emeritus of Sociology Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting “Developing and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at ����ɫ��ҹ” as this year’s selected speaker. The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon will be held on May 3.

For three short minutes on April 8, our world stood still.

Flashes can sample items from nearly 20 vendors to help University Culinary Services determine which new items to add to on-campus menus. 

A team of Rising Scholars from ����ɫ��ҹ Columbiana County earned a spot in the finals of the NASA HUNCH culinary competition at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The scholars will compete with teams from around the country on April 17 to determine if their culinary creation will be a future meal selection for astronauts aboard the International Space Station.

Celebrating 10 years as a student organization, Her Campus ����ɫ��ҹ presents a full week of career-focused events with panels, speakers and a runway fashion show.

Artificial intelligence is a reality for many industries and individuals. We use it for fun, in business and in the classroom. The question of how to use it appropriately drove some new revisions to ����ɫ��ҹ University’s administrative policies.

The thousands of people who came to ����ɫ��ҹ University on April 8 to witness the total solar eclipse did not leave disappointed by the celestial show, the likes of which had not been seen in Kent, Ohio since 1806.

More than 300 student presenters displayed their research and creativity on Friday, April 5, at the Undergraduate Symposium on Research, Scholarship and Creative Endeavors.

As the 2024 total solar eclipse passes over Kent, Ohio, on Monday, April 8, ����ɫ��ҹ University students, faculty and staff have the unique opportunity to witness an optical illusion known as the Purkinje effect.

The excitement has been building for more than a year, and the day is finally upon us!

����ɫ��ҹ University’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering recently hosted a career fair featuring 44 employers from fields ranging from aeronautics and aerospace to engineering, military and more.  Sponsored by the United States Air Force, the event aimed to connect students to alumni and top organizations within these sectors.  

����ɫ��ҹ University Culinary Services is embracing gastronomic diversity with its annual Food Truck Series, stationed outside the library and student center at Risman Plaza. The community food trucks are available to students, staff, faculty and the Kent community visiting campus.  

����ɫ��ҹ gymnasts reached new heights this semester as they sweep competitions and set new team records.
