American Legion Ruck March 2024

The Ruck for Pets and Vets saw participants march with full backpacks from Downtown Kent and through the university campus to finish at Dix Stadium. Items in the backpacks, and proceeds from the event, will assist in matching veterans and first responders with companion animals.

While there are fewer students on campus during summer break, the Kent Campus is still alive with energy and aspirations. The transition can even be more difficult for LGBTQ+ students, particularly for those who have recently "come out." Ken Ditlevson, director of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s LGBTQ+ Center, talks about the many resources available at Kent to support them.
