On April 17, 2020, from 6:00-8:30 pm, the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ LGBTQ+ Center will be celebrating the eighth Lavender Graduation ceremony in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. Lavender Graduation is a pre-commencement dinner celebration that honors the achievements of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University LGBTQ+ graduates. Students that are graduating during the 2020 calendar year are encouraged to participate by walking the stage, giving thanks to individuals that helped them reach graduation and being presented a rainbow stole that can be worn at the official KSU graduation. As part of the event, KSU alumni, attorney, activist and advocate Preston Mitchum, BA ‘08 will speak. The event is offered at no cost, however registration is required.
- Prior to the Lavender Graduation ceremony, the LGBTQ+ Center and the KSU LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter is hosting an alumni reception from 5:00-6:00 pm in the Kent Student Center ballroom balcony. Please email lgbtqsc@kent.edu with any questions or for more information.

Battle for the Wagon Heel Drag Competition: Saturday, March 14th at 10:00 pm at the Interbelt Nite Club. $5 door cover, which benefits the LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund.
Queer Voices Art Expo: Wednesday, April 1st 5:00-7:00 pm, hosted at the KSU Museum.
Legal Name Change Overview with Student Legal Services: Wednesday, April 1st at 3:30-4:30 pm, hosted at the LGBTQ+ Center.
