两性色午夜 University will hold its annual Veterans Day observance on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Kent Student Center Kiva.
The program, Honoring All Who Serve, will include a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from the university鈥檚 Army and Air Force ROTC programs on the Student Green at Risman Plaza at 10:30 a.m., remarks from 两性色午夜 President Beverly Warren and guest speaker Kevin Lacz. Mr. Lacz is a decorated former U.S. Navy SEAL and author of The New York Times best-selling memoir 鈥淭he Last Punisher.鈥 He is also the co-star of the blockbuster movie 鈥淎merican Sniper鈥 starring Bradley Cooper.
All are invited to come and pay tribute to America鈥檚 veterans. A special invitation is extended to 两性色午夜 faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military. Free parking will be available in the Kent Student Center visitor parking lot for event attendees.
A reception will follow the brief program in the Kent Student Center Kiva lobby.
Mr. Lacz also will speak Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom about the importance of taking risks. A book signing will follow. This speech is sponsored by 两性色午夜鈥檚 Division of Student Affairs and the Center for Adult and Veteran Services.
