Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program prepares students to enter professional nursing practice as registered nurses, helps them understand their role in society, and prepares them for graduate study.
As part of the College of Nursing鈥檚 mission to address the health care needs of Ohioans, the Nursing program is offered at multiple locations throughout northeast Ohio. All four years of the program can be completed at the Geauga, Trumbull, Kent, Salem, and Stark campuses.
Current registered nurses can complete their BSN online through the Nursing for Registered Nurses (RN to BSN) program.

Graduates of This Program Will
- Meet educational eligibility requirements to take the registered nurse licensing examination (National Certification and Licensure Exam).
- Acquire competencies based on professional standards to assume the role of the professional nurse and for career advancement, including graduate studies.
- Apply the nursing process in providing evidence-based, culturally sensitive care to promote health and adaptation of individuals, families, groups, and communities.
