"We're going to have all kinds of information for students who are looking to figure out how to make their diet a little better, build a healthy lifestyle and also learn where food comes from and how it incorporates into a healthy lifestyle and how it can impact your health," Korzan said.
Andrew Phillips, who is a sous chef at DI Dining, will conduct a cooking demonstration, preparing chicken salad on a crostini. Students will be able to sample Chef Eith's cooking and there will also be an interactive activity in which students can create their own take-home, custom spice mix.
Korzan wants to help Flashes make nutritious food choices for healthier lifestyles and is looking forward to seeing everyone at this fun – and tasty – event.
