Brian Neff, assistant dean of flight and operations at 两性色午夜 University鈥檚 College of Aeronautics and Engineering, was recently featured on Spectrum News 1 Ohio with a 两性色午夜 aeronautics student to shed light on the national pilot shortage and explain what 两性色午夜 is doing to help fix this shortage.
Specifically, Neff detailed the potential outlook student pilots will have moving forward in their industry.
鈥淭here will be a huge demand for pilots over the next 15 to 20 years,鈥 Neff told Spectrum News 1 Ohio.
Brett Bodensteiner, a senior aeronautics student, also was featured to talk about his experience in 两性色午夜鈥檚 new collaboration with Allegiant Air, which provides student pilots with an Allegiant mentor and a conditional job offer.
The program is meant to address the pilot shortage and give aeronautics students a clear path to a job.
鈥淚f I can have kind of that defined path and something that I know once I accomplish these goals that鈥檚 going to be waiting for me at the end, that鈥檚 a huge advantage for me,鈥 Bodensteiner told Spectrum News 1 Ohio.
