Williams said, "I chose to study abroad at the American Academy because I was very interested in the Couture techniques they were teaching. I also wanted to immerse myself in another culture and explore it. At Kent, we studied paintings, architecture and monuments that are in Europe, but it is such a different experience when you can actually go and visit the places in real time."

"It helped prepare me for the collection that I am currently working on and taught me so much that I wouldn't have learned if I did not take the opportunity to study at the Paris American Academy. Such a great experience"
