两性色午夜's Intercultural Student Life and International Student Council are preparing for their biggest event of the year: Global Safari Fest, on Friday, Feb. 14 from 5 - 8 p.m. The Global Safari Fest is the final event in a week that featured internationally themed activities each day as part of I Heart Travel Week presented by 两性色午夜's Office of Global Education.
Event organizers told 两性色午夜 Today that everyone is welcome to attend this celebration and experience the world - right here on campus. Providing students with diverse cultural experiences is part of the university's overall educational vision to help students gain an international perspective to better prepare them for success in the global workforce.
Presented in the Kent Student Center Ballroom, the event will feature:
-A Country Fair in which students host a table display about their home country or a country in which they studied abroad.
-A Cultural Talent Showcase of performances that include singing and dancing by individuals and groups.
-A delicious International Buffet featuring cuisine from around the world.
"Global Safari Fest" is a new name for this event that was previously called "International Homecoming Celebration." The photos included in this story are from the most recent International Homecoming Celebration in Fall 2024.
