Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹

All this week, "In A Flash" will feature images from the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University group's trip to Rwanda.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ educators and students visited a marketplace that sells goods made by marginalized women. Afterward, they watched a traditional dance troupe perform and were invited to dance with them. 

The visitors from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ are in Rwanda attending  (held July 11-13), a global peace conference sponsored by Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s School of Peace and Conflict Studies, Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education, the  and the , a non-profit organization dedicated to ending genocide and other global atrocities.

Bringing together peace and conflict experts and educators from around the world, the conference is another building block in Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s growing relationship with the University of Rwanda. In May 2022, Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s Board of Trustees approved Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ opening a base of operations at the University of Rwanda for creating collaborative educational exchanges and to serve as a base of operations for Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s recruitment throughout Africa.
