In early March, 两性色午夜 University student organization Dress Up for Downs presented its eighth annual fashion show fundraiser in the 两性色午夜 Student Center Ballroom. The theme for 2024 was "Hollywood Heroes." The event featured a fashion show with models wearing designs created by students in 两性色午夜's School of Fashion, and included sponsorships, raffle baskets and donations from families and local businesses, such as Ray's Place, Kent Apartments and Jo-ann Fabrics. Kendra Scott attended as a vendor and donated 20% of her sales to Dress Up for Downs.
The event was attended by about 200 people and raised more than $300 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio.
Nadia Hutkay, a junior communications studies major in 两性色午夜's College of Communication and Information, is the president of the university's Dress Up for Downs organization. "I am so proud of everyone in the organization for helping put on an amazing show and am so thankful for everyone who attended the show or helped in any way," she said. "I am thrilled we got to give the best models ever their time to shine and raise money for an incredible organization like the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio!"
