Students who apply to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University seeking a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Dance Performance or a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Dance Studies, and are accepted by the university, are automatically accepted as a B.A. in Dance Studies major.
Students interested in enrolling in the Musical Theatre program must participate in an audition and demonstrate potential for success in the areas of acting, voice, and dance.
Individuals interested in applying for the Master of Fine Arts in Acting program are required to participate in an audition. Auditions are held at the School of Theatre and Dance once per year, at URTA in Chicago and New York, and by appointment.
Individuals interested in applying for admission to the graduate Design and Technology programs in Costume Design, Lighting Design, Scenic Design, and Theatre Technology must prepare an entrance portfolio for faculty members to review prior to admission.
