Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University's new Crawford Hall officially opened its doors this week, welcoming students, faculty and staff to a cutting-edge academic facility for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship.

The university welcomed Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s Class of 2024 in grand style at this year's convocation with inspirational speeches from university administrators,  rally towels, strobe lights, Golden Flash cheerleaders and the Marching Golden Flashes band.

The celebration, Sept. 19-21, will be packed with panel discussions, workshops and poetry readings, culminating in a gala dinner on Sept. 21.

Rally towels, strobe lights and the Marching Golden Flashes added to the celebration on Aug. 16, when Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University welcomed its Class of 2028 with a rocking pep rally at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.

For the past month, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the Kent Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.

As students prepare for the start of the Fall 2024 Semester at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University, one man who has contributed greatly to the future success of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ and its students is being honored this week.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s financial aid administrators want students and their families who were caught in the snags of the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid process to know that financial aid and help completing the application are still available. The FAFSA cycle for the 2024-25 school year is not over.

It has been nearly 14 months since a gas explosion destroyed the historic building that was home to the Paris American Academy, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s Paris home for 16 years. Now, the academy has found a new home and soon, exciting advancements will be happening with Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s education-abroad programs in Paris.

When U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ this summer, he and U.S. Representative (and Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ alumna) Emilia Sykes toured the College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the May 4 Visitors Center.
