Mountain scene on The Rock

"The Rock" on the Kent Campus has worn many messages and many, many coats of paint. This week it displayed something unique.

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Board will consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business.

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Votes initiative is working with organizations and departments across campus to help engage and inform student voters in advance of the coming elections. 

The SURE program has given Allison Remick experience she can carry into a career as a veterinarian.

Allison Remick and Madeline Desmond were among a cohort of 178 students who conducted research projects under the direction of faculty mentors during the annual 2024 SURE program.

Adobe Creative Campus

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University celebrated its designation as an Adobe Creative Campus with the grand opening of the Adobe Creative Commons, marking a significant milestone in the institution's commitment to digital literacy.

President Todd Diacon, his wife, Moema Furtado, Alice Cone, Paul and Eileen Gaston and their daughter Beth, and David Hassler, at the dedication of the Gaston Prentice House, Aug. 28, 2024.

The historic house perched next to the Lefton Esplanade at South Lincoln Street on the Kent Campus, which has been home to the Wick Poetry Center since 2014, is now officially the Gaston Prentice House.

The College of Aeronautics and Engineering unveiled a new way for the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ community to relax, destress and get themselves back into the proper headspace. The Mind Space is designed to be an oasis of tranquility accessible to all. It's a personalized and holistic focus to help everyone on campus be successful.

Making the K 2024

Continuing a tradition that began in 2019, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s incoming Class of 2028 came together to form a large "K" on Manchester Field.
