����ɫ��ҹ worked out Tuesday at the Dallas Cowboys’ Training Facility – – for the first of three workouts ahead of Friday’s Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl against Utah State.

Ten ����ɫ��ҹ University students were awarded $1,000 each for their creative use of videos, podcasts and Adobe Spark® pages to reflect on the events of May 4, 1970, as part of the university’s Design Innovation Common Reading Challenge. 

����ɫ��ҹ University is working with area autism-focused organizations as well as KultureCity®, a nonprofit dedicated to providing accessibility and inclusion for those with special needs, to create a sensory-friendly gameday experience that can be enjoyed by all. Fans attending ����ɫ��ҹ’s Dec. 21 mens basketball game versus Hampton University will feel an expression of the university’s ongoing commitment to its core values of kindness, mutual respect and inclusion.

The ����ɫ��ҹ University alumni family grew by nearly 3,000 new graduates as the university held its Fall Commencement ceremonies. For the Kent Campus, Commencement ceremonies took place Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center.

The ����ɫ��ҹ Golden Flashes (6-6) are bowling for the fourth time in school history, having accepted a bid to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl against Utah State (7-5, Mountain West).

Joan C. Cronan will share a short address with a long-lasting impact as commencement speaker.

“Small successes matter, even when students understand a complex idea, attend tutoring to improve their exam grade or make personal connections to learning,” said Rachael Blasiman, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Psychology for ����ɫ��ҹ University at Salem. This positive teaching philosophy led her to winning the Distinguished Teaching Award.

����ɫ��ҹ University’s Giving Tuesday 2019 raised more than $1.6 million when it ended on Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m., shattering the previous year’s record of $1.03 million. Supporters were able to choose from more than 40 featured giving options throughout the ����ɫ��ҹ system, including student scholarships, educational programs, athletic teams and more.
