Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University, the city of Kent and the Portage Area Regional Transit Authority (PARTA) jointly have committed to the economic development of retail/entertainment areas serving students, employees and guests of the university and the city.

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Board of Trustees on Wednesday unanimously approved a new collective bargaining agreement with the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP-KSU), which represents tenured and tenure-track faculty.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed Ann Womer Benjamin, J.D., of Aurora, Ohio, to the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Board of Trustees. Her appointment began June 21, 2019, and ends May 16, 2028.
