Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University's annual Veterans Day Commemoration ceremonies begin at 11 a.m., Nov. 9 on the Student Green.
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ ROTC students had a special early morning pick up on campus for their weekend exercises.
Several dozen Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ students started their weekend early Friday morning by loading a CH-47 Chinook helicopter that landed briefly on the Kent Campus to take them to a field exercise with the Army ROTC.
The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ community paused from classes and work Nov. 10 to gather on the Student Green at Risman Plaza and show their respect as part of Veterans Day.
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ alumna 1st Lt. Ashley White-Stump is featured along with other American heroes in the new National Museum of the United States Army, which just recently opened in Virginia.
