Events
The Office of Research Development helps facilitate a variety of events.
Research and Innovation Forums
Forums are a great way to learn about the innovative research conducted at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹. Held twice per semester, the forum is designed for three speakers from diverse areas to present for 15 minutes, demonstrating the breadth of research/scholarship at the university. Forums are followed by a reception to encourage the development of collaborative ideas.
Research and Creative Activity Brown Bags
Bring your lunch and come hang out with colleagues on typically the third, or sometimes fourth, Thursday of the month to discuss recent research issues of interest. Topics change frequently, and please feel free to suggest a topic.
Ideas for a workshop, brownbag, seminar? R&ED works closely with the University library, Information Technology, Corporate Engagement, Foundation Relations, and Technology Commercialization – let us know what you would like to learn more about and we will set it up! Contact the Division of Research and Economic Development for more details.
The Division of Research and Economic Development sponsors and co-sponsors workshops, forums, and brown bags to provide guidance, information, and professional development opportunities for the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ community.
