Part One: Managing Change vs. Change Managing You

Tuesday, September 21, 2021 â€“ 11:30 am – 1 pm.

The old saying, the only constant is change, has never been more apparent than our life experience the past 18 months when the world and our lives seemingly felt upside down.  In this time of change that included a worldwide pandemic, among other changes to life, liberty and our pursuit for happiness and connection, we have often felt like we were in a constant tailspin grasping for the familiar when it is nowhere to be found. It is understandable that many may still have these feelings, particularly as we have begun the process of returning to our workplaces and finding our rhythm. Given the obvious, change is inevitable, let us learn to expand our toolbox for dealing with it. In this session, Sandra Bishop, will discuss and engage you in practical skills to use when you’re feeling like the world is falling apart. In addition, we will learn skills to help put loss in perspective when facing a changing environment, including job loss, loss of a co-worker, friend or family member, or even loss of time and sharing in life experiences. Together we will learn tools for healing and becoming whole again.

*Additional time has been allotted for the audience to interact and ask questions of the speaker during this interactive Zoom presentation.

There are many healthy ways to manage and cope with stress which require change. During this session, we will  look at the development of emotional resiliency. Emotional resiliency can be taught at any stage in your life and empowers you to bounce back quicker and even recover from difficult situations or life events. This workshop, led by Kelsey Loushin, will teach resiliency techniques to enhance work styles and the way you manage other day to day pressures and life events.
