Programs in French
Ranging from elementary French study through a Master's degree, programs in French offer students the opportunity for in-depth study of the language and culture of France and the Francophone countries, as well as translation from French into English.
Undergraduate Options
Programs:
- B.A. in French Literature, Culture and Translation*
- B.S. in Translation (French to English)
- Minor in French
- Minor in Business French
* Teaching licensure candidates must also complete a Minor in Education.
Graduate Options

Study Abroad:
Through the University's Office of Global Education, students may participate in the Geneva semester on International Affairs in Switzerland and pursue studies of the United Nations, international business and economics, and French studies. An exchange program with the University of Bordeaux III allows an opportunity for students to live for a year with French-speaking families and study French as a second language intensively. Students with more advanced skills may study Political Science and Economics at the University of Bordeaux IV.
