To honor and remember the events that occurred on that tragic day, virtual events and exhibits hosted by Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University students, faculty and staff are scheduled through May 4.
Jerry Lewis was professor of sociology at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University from 1966 to 1996. He witnessed the May 4 shootings as a faculty marshal and dedicated much of his career to researching, memorializing, and lecturing about the events of May 4, 1970.
In tribute to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ student Bill Arthrell's infamous anti-war protest, the May 4th Task Force presents a teach-in on the importance of agitator/provocateur awareness and coalition building in student protest movements.
