Navigating GenAI as a Graduate Student – Wednesday, Oct. 23, 10-11:30 am on Microsoft Teams

The new generative artificial intelligence landscape can be challenging to navigate, especially for graduate students who hold different roles. Join us for this discussion about how GenAI can both aid and hinder your work as a graduate student, from research and writing to teaching and more. We will explore tools that can increase your efficiency and discuss the ethical implications of engaging with these tools.

Each badge asks you to complete a series of tasks to explore evidence-based teaching practices and apply them to your own teaching. Graduate Student Teaching Award

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Graduate College Graduate Student Teaching Award highlights excellence in teaching and mentoring among current graduate students. The award recognizes graduate students who exemplify excellence in teaching/learning as part of their professional development and training. One award will be given to a doctoral student and one to a master’s student. 

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University recipients will also be submitted as institutional nominees to the as KSU nominees for the . The MAGS award includes a citation and a $750 honorarium that will be presented at the annual meeting of the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS).

Teaching Recognition Awards

The Center for Teaching & Learning offers a tiered teaching recognition program, designed to reward instructors for their efforts to enhance teaching and learning. These awards act as badges, and you are welcome to earn as many as you would like. You do not need to be a current instructor to apply for our Bronze Awards!
