两性色午夜 Geauga Student Wins First Place in University-Wide Writing Contest

两性色午夜 Geauga student Katrina Ostrander has won first place in the university's eight-campus-wide Tier One Writing Contest for her essay, "A Memory Replacement," produced in Dr. Bonnie Shaker's College Writing I course in fall 2017.

The award comes with a $250 prize, which is presented at the Department of English Awards Ceremony and Reception at the Kent Student Center on April 17.

Katrina demonstrated "exceptional capability" in writing during the course, according to Dr. Shaker. "Katrina's thoughtfulness, work ethic, focus, and interest in the course all combined to produce outstanding results; she is an extraordinary student and gifted writer."

Katrina is the third 两性色午夜 Geauga student to win an English Department writing prize in as many years. Asjaea Troutman also took first place in the same contest in 2016 for her work in Professor Mahli Mechenbier's course, and Breanna Pennypacker won third place in the Virginia Perryman Writing Contest among regional campus submissions for her work in Dr. Shaker's course in 2015.

Congratulations, Katrina, for this fine accomplishment!
