2023 Spring Food Truck Series

Food trucks return to Risman Plaza every Wednesday through the end of April. 

A student who has committed to attending Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University in the fall smiles with loved ones and Flash, the mascot, during a 2023 Future Flash Day held on the Kent Campus.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University is proving that it is the place to be for fall 2023 with a record-breaking number of applications, a record-breaking number of students who have been accepted for admission into the university and a record-breaking number of students who have made deposits to confirm their attendance in the fall.

2023 Food Truck Series

Whether they’re looking for a quick bite or a new culinary experience, students and university employees alike are excited to sample some local flavor during the spring Community Food Truck Series.

Innovation Day 2023 was a collaborative effort of the Northeast Ohio Public University Research Alliance (NEO-PURA) comprised of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University, Cleveland State University, Northeast Ohio Medical University, The University of Akron and Youngstown State University.

March is National Social Work Month in the United States. Although it is a celebratory time, the profession currently faces challenges due to reductions in the labor force and a growing population of need, especially in rural communities. Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ recently announced the creation of a Bachelor of Social Work academic degree program, which will launch in the fall of 2023 with a focus on rural social work.

Roe Green, MA ’80, who will be awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University, is pictured in the lobby of the Roe Green Center for the School of Theatre and Dance at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹.

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Board of Trustees has approved awarding Roe Green, MA ’80, a Doctor of Humane Letters, an honorary degree recognizing her contributions to the university and her advocacy for the arts not only in Northeast Ohio, but also across the nation and around the world.
