Everyone was at Dix Stadium to cheer for our Golden Flashes at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s Homecoming celebration last weekend.

Since Don’Marie Reid of Akron became a Golden Flash, she has experienced immense support from the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ community, but the CommUNITY Lab is her home away from home where she and many other students receive unconditional support.

With more than 370 majors to choose from at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹, it can be overwhelming for some students to choose their major and career path for them.  This October the Exploratory Advising Center is hosting its first-ever Exploration Month to help exploratory students find their interests and explore the different majors and opportunities Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ offers.

A transformational conference on Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s Kent Campus brought together three of Ohio's top universities.

Tram Nguyen was drawn to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ after seeing one of the tragic May 4, 1970, and learning the sacrifices the students made.

Vietnamese student Tram Nguyen made a connection to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ when she saw a picture of student Jeffrey Miller after the May 4 shooting. Recently she visited the Prentice Parking Lot Memorial Marker dedicated to Miller.

David Dix, retired publisher of the Kent Ravenna Record-Courier, was the speaker for the Oct. 17, 2023, Bowman Breakfast.

More than 250 leaders from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University and the city of Kent came together Tuesday for the 60th annual Bowman Breakfast, an event aimed at celebrating the strong relationship between the city and the university.
