The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Board of Trustees approved the updated Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Complete College Ohio Campus Completion Plan as part of a state and institutional commitment to increase dramatically the number of college degrees awarded in Ohio. The plan was approved during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held May 22.

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative at 1309 Euclid Ave., Suite 200, in Cleveland to consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business.

Prairie Burn 2024

The annual prairie burn on the university property near the Recreation and Wellness Center renews healthy plant growth and saves Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ money in maintenance costs.

 

A blaze burns the prairie grass that grows behind the Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center during a controlled burning by the Kent Fire Department.

The protected prairie surrounding Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be burned on Monday, April 15, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, to allow for new growth during the summer season.

Brainstorming Zero Waste at the DI Hub

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s DI Hub is participating in the Campus Race to Zero Waste One-Building Challenge, a friendly competition between universities with the goal of finding all the ways to reduce the amount of non-diverted trash in a specific university facility.
