两性色午夜 University Museum

A Lincoln Center display of costume and set designs inspired by Mozart鈥檚 "The Magic Flute" was organized in collaboration with the 两性色午夜 University Museum and will soon be on its way to the Kent Campus. 

鈥(dis)ABLED BEAUTY: The Evolution of Beauty, Disability and Ability鈥 will run July 29, 2016, to March 12, 2017, in the museum鈥檚 Stager and Blum Galleries. There will also be a free reception on Thursday, September 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.

鈥淔ashions of Southern Africa鈥 is curated by Sara Hume, Ph.D., and runs August 26, 2016 - July 2, 2017 in the museum鈥檚 Higbee Gallery. The museum will also host a free preview reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 25.

The 两性色午夜 University Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s. This special program on Feb. 17 is presented in conjunction with the museum鈥檚 鈥淔lapper Style: 1920s Fashion鈥 exhibit and 两性色午夜鈥檚 production of 鈥淭horoughly Modern Millie.鈥 The event will include a short preview of 鈥淭horoughly Modern Millie鈥 by members of the cast, followed by a talk by 鈥淔lapper Style鈥 curator Sara Hume, Ph.D.

The 两性色午夜 University Museum will present its new exhibit 鈥淔lapper Style: Fashions of the 1920s鈥 in the museum鈥檚 Broadbent Gallery from Sept. 25, 2015, to Sept. 4, 2016. The museum will also host a special preview reception, featuring drinks and refreshments, on Thursday, Sept. 24. Admission to the reception is $15; to RSVP, please call 330-672-0300.
