At the start of the 2016 academic year, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University becomes the first university in the country to feature an entirely gluten-free dining hall on campus.

In line with Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s vision to make the health of its community members a priority, the university’s healthy campus initiative, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ of Wellness, will foster a culture of health and wellness for students and employees at all Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ campuses.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University President Beverly Warren recently presented 14 Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ faculty members with the President’s Faculty Excellence Award, which recognizes exceptional performance that leads to the achievement of national or international recognition.

Beginning fall 2016, Stark State College students with an Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) and their state license can earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University at Stark through an articulation agreement signed this summer.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s Dining Services has partnered with Tapingo to enable students, faculty and staff to order their meals online, pay electronically via their meal plan or credit card and request a pickup time. 

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s Richard Ferdig has spent a lot of his time at the university using technology to improve teaching and learning environments.

Three community members have been named to the Tuscarawas County University Branch District Board of Trustees and the Tuscarawas County University Foundation at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University at Tuscarawas.

Ratchneewan Ross, associate dean of the Ph.D. program and director of international initiatives at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s College of Nursing, will be inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing in October.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University will hold its Summer 2016 Commencement ceremony for the Kent Campus on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
