Twelve years ago, a team of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University faculty members discovered their common hobby of playing instruments at a Department of Psychological Sciences’ event. After that, they created a band that now performs under the name Diminished Faculties. 

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹'s Herb Page achieved several successes as a student-athlete and also as director of the university's golf program and head men’s golf coach.

As a Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ student-athlete, he earned eight varsity letters in golf, football and ice hockey, and several other sports achievements. Now, he is one of the most respected coaches in the country.

Zhiqiang Wang, Ph.D., associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry, earned a 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award. Dr. Wang is pictured with some of her students following a surprise classroom visit notifying her that she won the award.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ student-athletes are using a new, state-of-the-art cryotherapy chamber to aide in muscle recovery. The chamber uses subzero temperatures to help decrease pain, slow cell aging and reduce the chance of muscle spasms.
