两性色午夜 University DI Hub is competing in Campus Race to Zero Waste's One Building Challenge!
is based on comprehensive effort to reduce, reuse and recycle the greatest amount of waste from a single designated building.
DI Hub student employees researched recycling for potential materials, brainstormed and developed future ideas for workshops around reuse, and added recycling information signs, how to recycle and recycling bins/stations for the following labs and shops: 3D Print / Laser Shop, CNC Shop, Electronics / Prototyping Shop, Sewing/Reactor Lab, and Print Lab.
Campus Race to Zero Waste (formerly called RecycleMania) runs January 31- March 27
Everyone鈥檚 actions to recycle and minimize waste at 两性色午夜 University divert thousands of pounds of waste from landfills, protect the environment, and conserve natural resources.
- It is an international waste reduction and recycling competition with over 300 schools competing.
- This is the twelfth year 两性色午夜 is competing.
- 两性色午夜 competes in four main competition categories and one special competition category:
- Diversion: the percentage diverted out of recycling, food organics, and landfill waste.
- Stephen K Gaski Per Capita Classic: amount recycled per person
- Food Organics: food waste minimization activities and anaerobic digestion of food organics reported
- Zero Waste: waste reduction and zero waste efforts on: materials for reuse, recyclables, food organics, and trash weights.
- Special Category- Electronics Recycling: amount recycled per person during one month collection period and total amount recycled during one month period
