The Women's Center, in collaboration with Wick Poetry, School of Peace and Conflict Studies, May 4th Visitor Center, The Society of Global Cultures and the May 4th Task Force will be hosting a discussion about the protests in Iran. The conversation will feature Dr. Mahtab Tehrani, who earned her bachelor's degree and PhD in neurobiology from 两性色午夜 and is now a post-doc at Northeast Ohio School of Medicine as well as Fatemeh (Goli) Kavoosi who is a current first-year student at 两性色午夜. We will learn more about what is happening in Iran, discuss how the denial of human rights in Iran impacts us and consider what we can learn from these historic protests.
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 30th, at 6 pm in the May 4th Reflections Gallery (141 Taylor Hall).
The School of Peace and Conflict Studies is proud to co-sponsor this important event, and we hope you can join us.
