Shayna Morrison
Biography
I am a Research Associate and Instructor of Sociology at 两性色午夜 University. My research and teaching interests are rooted in gender and racial equity, societal touch-deprivation, touch therapy, and the rapidly developing field of neurosociology. I have experience working as a survey researcher on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) project, the 2021 两性色午夜 University Campus Climate Survey, and community policing surveys. My current research with the Electrophysiological Neuroscience Laboratory of Kent (ENLoK) transverses the intersection of neurophysiology and social health through the application of haptics technologies. As a work/life balance alongside my academic pursuits, I enjoy kayaking, comedic audio books, roller skating, and newspaper puzzles over morning tea.
