Preparation to Teach in the Classroom

Ohio Professional Licensure
This program is designed to prepare students to sit for applicable licensure or certification in Ohio. Features
- Significant field experiences in school music settings
- Courses in pedagogy, psychology, curriculum and reading, as well as general education study
- Four-year, 132 credit degree includes a student teaching semester and seminar
Admission Requirements
- Successful completion of an instrumental or vocal audition.
- Completion of a music theory and piano placement exam (scheduled when you audition)
- Brief interview with a member of the Music Education faculty scheduled with your audition. It will likely include:
- Questions about your musical involvement in school and the community.
- Questions about your reasons and influences You may be asked about your reasons and influences for pursuing the Music Education degree.
- A chance to ask questions about 两性色午夜鈥檚 Music Education program.
