鈥淕iven the complex work they do, nurses鈥 need to take care of themselves through self-care activities cannot be overemphasized,鈥 saidLaura Dzurec, dean of 两性色午夜鈥檚 College of Nursing. 鈥淲e hope to see every U.S. nursing program adopt the strategies that we are emphasizing through our Care for the Caregiver program, and we expect that鈥檚 exactly what might happen.鈥
The award will be presented on Oct. 29 at the AACN Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C.
鈥淭he selection process was very competitive, so you and your faculty are to be highly commended,鈥 said AACN President Jane Kirschling in a congratulatory letter sent to Dzurec.
