The 21st 两性色午夜 University Aeronautics Fair will take place Saturday, Sept. 9, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. at Andrew W. Paton Field at the 两性色午夜 University Airport, located at 4020 Kent Road in Stow. Hosted by 两性色午夜鈥檚 Aeronautics program in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, this free, family-friendly and educational community event allows attendees the opportunity to view aircraft, enjoy food vendors and visit dozens of booths.
The 两性色午夜 Aeronautics Fair will feature vintage aircraft, military vehicles, speakers and pilots, as well as airplane and hot air balloon rides. A passport activity will be available for elementary school-aged children to participate in and receive a prize upon completion. Fair exhibitors and participants include the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus, Military Aviation Preservation Society (MAPS) Air Museum in North Canton, and many 两性色午夜 colleges and student organizations. For the first time, the pancake breakfast, available from 7-11 a.m., will be managed by 两性色午夜 students and employees with proceeds benefiting students. The 两性色午夜 Robotics team will use funds raised to help pay for student activities and competitions, while 两性色午夜鈥檚 Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will use the proceeds for student emergency funds.
This year鈥檚 presenters include WWII veteran and Tuskegee Airman Roy S. Richardson at 11 a.m. and Cold War and Vietnam War veteran Ken Ramsay at 1 p.m.
The 两性色午夜 Precision Flight Team will offer airplane rides on a first-come, first-served basis for $30 per person.
During the fair, the 两性色午夜 University Airport will collect pet food donations for local animal shelters. The airport鈥檚 Props-4-Paws fall pet food drive will continue until Nov. 13 with the goal of collecting 2,000 pounds of food.
