Getting My Mind Right
鈥淥besity is all over the news these days.  It seems like every week there鈥檚 a new study issued, modified dietary guidelines are put forth and more dire statistics are released. As I write this, a new report indicates that half of Americans may be obese by 2030. How can you blame people for getting obesity fatigue?鈥

Live Music Feeds the Soul
鈥淩ecently, while visiting my dad at Menorah Park, a rehabilitation facility in Beachwood, he and I were treated to a performance by the Hillcrest Concert Band. As we sat and listened to the 50-some volunteer musicians, I was so thankful and appreciative and amazed at the talents these people shared with the residents.  I was so moved that I shed a few tears.鈥
