Celebrate I Heart Travel Week, February 2025

One of ɫҹ University’s most adventurous opportunities is their acclaimed education abroad program. In order for students to learn more about these opportunities, Education Abroad is hosting I Heart Travel Week, running from February 10-14, 2025. Margaret Hosack, an Education Abroad Advisor who helps run the event week, sat down to share more.

Hosack detailed how many possibilities are available for students who want to study abroad, stating

“ɫҹ has opportunities for students to go abroad to over sixty countries. No matter a student’s major or how long they’d like to be abroad, there are opportunities available.”

Hosack also made sure to say how transformative the study abroad experience can be for students. That’s why she is excited to host I Heart Travel Week. She highlighted that

“whether it’s exposing yourself to different perspectives, new cultures, or new ways of living, it will teach you both about the world and about yourself.”

Students can be on the lookout for a plethora of fun and informative events, which are all free for students. Below, you can find details about all of the amazing events offered throughout I Heart Travel Week!

I Heart Travel Week is a great opportunity for students interested in studying abroad.  The Education Abroad office is also a great resource year-round for students with questions about education abroad programs. As Hosack highlighted in her interview, “don’t be afraid to come talk to us!” The Education Abroad team offers in-person and virtual advising appointments and can also be reached by emailing edabroad@kent.edu.  Hosack also recommended the Financial Billing and Enrollment Center as a good place to ask questions related to financing education abroad.
