is located on a 450-acre site on the outskirts of Daegu city. It is a university with a very international environment, and it is conveniently located at the crossroads of historical and modern Korea, in the heart of Korean culture. Keimyung University is the perfect study abroad option for students interested in immersing themselves in the traditional Korean culture - there is even a traditional village on campus!
With a variety of English course offerings and an excellent Korean language program, students have the opportunity to truly get the most out of their classroom experience. Students who demonstrate language proficiency can take courses taught in Korean. A complimentary Korean culture class, which consists of a number of Korean folk culture-based activities including calligraphy, tea ceremony, ceramic art, paper art and more, is provided once a week at the replica Korean traditional village. Students are also invited throughout the semester to attend various local festivals and cultural events. There is also a Korean Buddies program where ISEP students can be matched with a local student.
