KSU Barkitecture: Architecture Students Link Pets with People

Some 两性色午夜 University architecture students are using their talents and skills to design more than brick and mortar; they are constructing hope for the furry friends that may not have much left.

A group of 两性色午夜 architecture students formed a student organization they named 鈥淜SU Barkitecture.鈥 They design and build environments for pets living in shelters, at no cost. The labor is free and the supplies and materials are purchased with the help of fundraisers.

Despite the group鈥檚 name, its first project involved building an environment for cats at the .

鈥淲e installed the cat wall at the humane society at the end of last semester,鈥 said Josh Myers, founder of KSU Barkitecture and architecture student in 两性色午夜鈥檚 College of Architecture and Environmental Design. 鈥淭he cats received it really well, so we're really happy about that.鈥

Myers says he is looking forward to returning to campus in the fall. He says the group is currently planning out its next project and fundraiser.
