New Student FAFSA Information

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) will update the 2024-2025 FAFSA Updates section below as additional information is made available so that we can continue to educate students, families, and our campus community on the new processes.

UPDATED OFFER TIMELINE

New students with a FAFSA received as of the end of April will receive offer notification emails on Tuesday, April 30th. The offer letter will be sent out this week so watch your mailboxes!

If you do not receive a Financial Aid Office notice but you completed the FAFSA review the following:

If you haven't submitted the 2024-25 FAFSA, please do so now and add 两性色午夜 University鈥檚 code, 003051. We strongly encourage all students to submit the 2024-25 FAFSA because it's required for most financial aid opportunities and the FAFSA formula has changed, which means more students may be eligible.

If you believe 两性色午夜 should have received your FAFSA, please log in and  on the FAFSA dashboard now.

There are a few reasons why your FAFSA may not have been sent to us:

  •  was not provided on your FAFSA.
  • The incorrect 2023-24 FAFSA was submitted instead of the 2024-25 FAFSA.
  • Consent is required but was not provided on the FAFSA.
  • Required signatures are missing from the FAFSA.

UPDATED FAFSA TIMELINE

    • Students attending summer should complete their 24-25 FAFSA as soon as possible.
    • Summer Payment Due Dates
  • December-March 15, 2024
    • You can still submit your FAFSA after March 15.
    • Complete FAFSA at if you have not done so.
    • Check status of FAFSA to verify it is complete for all contributors.
    • As long as you submitted the FAFSA by March 15, you have met our deadline, even if you need to add our school code later.
  • FAFSA Submission Summary information will be sent by the U.S. Department of Education to students by early April (soft launch)
    • Corrections to a submitted FAFSA can be made in the coming weeks once you have been notified by Federal Student Aid.
    • Watch your email for your FAFSA submission summary to review your FAFSA information that was processed.
  • FAFSA will be sent to 两性色午夜 University by the U.S. Department of Education by early April in batches.
    • We will notify students when we receive your FAFSA.
  • Financial Aid will begin sending Offer Letters to new students in April.
  • Financial Aid will begin processing financial aid for continuing students in students in early May.
2024-2025 FAFSA News and Updates

FAFSA AND SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE UPDATE (as of 2/6/24)

Due to a on Tuesday February 5, 2024, we are aligning our Kent Campus scholarship and FAFSA dates accordingly. We will continue to award merit scholarships to new summer/fall admits through March 15. The new priority submission date for the FAFSA will also be March 15.

FAFSA TIMELINE UPDATE (as of 03/15/24)

  • December-March 15, 2024
    • You can still submit your FAFSA after March 15.
    • Complete FAFSA at if you have not done so.
    • Check status of FAFSA to verify it is complete for all contributors.
    • As long as you submitted the FAFSA by March 15, you have met our deadline, even if you need to add our school code later.
  • FAFSA Submission Summary information will be sent by the U.S. Department of Education to students by early April (soft launch)
    • Corrections to a submitted FAFSA can be made after you receive your FAFSA submission summary. (watch your email)
  • FAFSA will be sent to 两性色午夜 University by the U.S. Department of Education by early April in batches.
    • We will notify students when we receive your FAFSA.
    • Students who need to make corrections to their FAFSA should be able to make corrections after the FAFSA is officially processed by Federal Student Aid and the student has received notification of their FAFSA submission summary
  • Financial Aid will begin sending Offer Letters to new students in mid-April 

What does this mean for you and your family?

  • If you鈥檝e submitted your FAFSA, your data will be sent to you and your selected schools starting the first half of March. Federal Student Aid will notify you when your FAFSA is processed and if corrections need to be made. 
  • If you haven鈥檛, please  by March 15. Submitting your FAFSA by our extended priority deadline ensures you will qualify for the maximum scholarships and receive the best financial aid offer. View our campus school codes. 
  • Once we receive your FAFSA and are confident the information is accurate, Financial Aid Offers will be sent to all students who have submitted a FAFSA to 两性色午夜 University. Previously, we planned to send financial aid offers in March, but we are expecting a delay due to this news, which impacts schools nationwide.

UPDATED FAFSA DEADLINE IN RESPONSE TO FAFSA DELAYS (as of 1/12/24)

The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Aid went live as scheduled by December 2023 and is available to complete at fafsa.gov. Although the FAFSA is live, the Department of Education continues to monitor site performance and review issues and concerns based on feedback from students and families.

In response to challenges students and families have experienced related to the launch of the FAFSA, 两性色午夜 University has extended our FAFSA deadline from Feb. 15 to March 1. This means you must file the FAFSA by March 1 to be eligible for maximum scholarships and the best financial aid offer from 两性色午夜 University.

If you were able to complete the FAFSA, the University Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at 两性色午夜 will not receive your FAFSA results until mid-March at the earliest. Previously, we planned to send financial aid offers in March, but we are expecting a delay due to this news, which impacts schools nationwide.

2024鈥25 FAFSA SOFT LAUNCH DETAILS AND TIMELINES (as of 12/15/23)

In a , Federal Student Aid (FSA) expanded upon previously shared information about the timeline of the 2024鈥25 FAFSA form launch and shared additional details for what applicants and families can expect through February 2024.

As previously announced, students and families will be able to complete and submit the 2024鈥25 FAFSA form online by Dec. 31. FSA will be treating the period leading up to and following Dec. 31 as a soft launch period, which will allow Federal Student Aid to monitor and respond in real time to any potential issues impacting the applicant experience.

 WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE SOFT LAUNCH OF THE 2024-25 FAFSA FORM

During the soft launch period, the Department will be monitoring site performance, conducting planned pauses for maintenance, and making updates to improve the user experience for students and families.

Students and families will have ample time to complete the 2024-25 FAFSA, and do not need to rush to fill out the form immediately when the soft launch period opens, as FSA will not transmit results to schools until later in January.

The 2024-2025 FAFSA is OPEN!

You are now able to submit your 2024-2025 FAFSA. This is for students attending Summer 2024, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.

To make sure you are FAFSA ready, follow the steps below. 

1. Create your FSA ID 

  • To create an FSA ID, each person needs to go to and click 鈥淐reate Account鈥 in the upper right-hand corner. The application is available in English and Spanish. 
  • Determine if or which parent is considered a for the FAFSA.
    • Each person will need the following:
      • Full name and social security number as they appear on social security card(if applicable)
      • Date of birth
      • Valid email address and phone number
      • Immediate access to your email account
      • Your residential address
      • Please note: If you have a sibling who attended college before you, your parent or guardian may already have an FSA ID.

2. Gather the information you need

  • You will need to gather your social security number, income and tax information and records of you assets (money) you have saved. For more information visit .

3. Prepare your list of schools
