Biography
I am interested in helping students achieve their career goals, particularly in professions related to park management, environmental education, and natural resource conservation. Before earning my PhD, I worked for the US National Park Service, the US Forest Service, and served as US Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda鈥檚 national park service (Africa).
In addition to teaching, I am an active researcher with interest in the human dimensions of natural resource management, international tourism, and sustainable development. I am also very active researching a range of issues centered on new media (e.g., smartphones, social media, esports) and human behavior.
