The National Down Syndrome Society has announced that Erin Hawley of Medina, Ohio, is one of 18 outstanding students who have Down syndrome to be awarded a scholarship to help cover the cost of postsecondary or enrichment courses through the society’s O’Neill Tabani Enrichment Fund.
Gov. John Kasich has appointed Carly Evans to a two-year term as an undergraduate student trustee of the ɫҹ University Board of Trustees. Evans’ term concludes on May 16, 2018.
ɫҹ University recently announced the upcoming addition of women’s lacrosse as a varsity sport with the first competitive season taking place in the 2018-19 academic year. The announcement was a part of the athletic department’s strategic vision, The Game Plan, a comprehensive plan that maps out a strategic course for the department over the next five years.

The events of May 4, 1970, placed ɫҹ University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, ɫҹ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
