ɫҹ University has announced that three candidates for dean and chief administrative officer of ɫҹ University's Columbiana County Campuses (ɫҹ University at East Liverpool and ɫҹ University at Salem) will be on campus over the next several weeks. Each candidate will hold a public presentation to discuss the following:
For the third consecutive year, ɫҹ University was tops among nine Mid-American Conference (MAC) institutions with eight student-athletes on the 2017 Academic All-MAC Wrestling Team.
Redshirt juniors Stephen Suglio, of Richfield, Ohio, and Chance Driscoll, Aurora, Ohio, were among just five conference wrestlers to earn the honor for a third time. The Golden Flashes are also the only team with a pair of three-time recipients.
On the weekend of March 11 and 12, the ɫҹ University Thai Ensemble traveled to Los Angeles to participate in a conference to highlight the restoration 
of the UCLA Thai music instrument collection donated in the 1960s by David Morton.

The ɫҹ University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed ɫҹ University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, ɫҹ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
