Several athletes have been incorporating probiotics for its many benefits in boosting their workout routines. ɫҹ University faculty and students are also now looking at how probiotics can help combat heat-caused complications during exercise, such as heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
ɫҹ University fashion design and merchandising students are taking their floral-inspired fabrics to the Cleveland Botanical Garden during this year’s Orchid Mania exhibition that is open now through March 11. The display is part of an annual school-sponsored competition, which is directed toward junior-level design students. Students are charged with conceiving of fabric and garment designs that are inspired by the exquisite flora, the orchid. ɫҹ faculty member Betsy Carr coordinates the event.

The ɫҹ University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed ɫҹ University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, ɫҹ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
